We’re currently able to offer a limited number of midwifery scholarships for relatives seeking to experience or explore midwifery care and home birth options in the Bemidji area and 60-mile radius.

Millicent is dedicated to addressing birth disparities in her community by improving access to Mino-Bimaadiziwin (the Anishinaabe Way of Life). She promotes diversity in healthcare and is an active participant in Midewiwin ceremonies.

What does a midwifery scholarship cover?

The scholarship will cover all fees for midwifery care, the costs of home birth kits, and all prenatal/postnatal supplements as directed by the Lunar Midwifery team.
