Two Spirit Advocacy

Mewinzha Ondaadiziike Wiigamings is proud to support Two Spirit Advocacy as part of our bundle of care. Two Spirit Advocacy honors and uplifts Native American culture by creating a safe, inclusive space for 2SLGBTQ+ people and families. Through education, advocacy, and community-building, we aim to promote acceptance, respect, and connection for all. By celebrating and uplifting Two Spirit identities, we help ensure that our traditions and diverse experiences come together to support healing, understanding, and belonging across generations.

Offerings

Support Groups

We offer culturally based support groups twice a month for our Two Spirit relatives. All ages are welcome to attend.

2SLGBTQ+ Library

We have a small library of 2SLGBTQ+ books for all ages that can be read at the Two Spirit Advocacy.

Outreach information

Should you or family members need counseling services, food securities or any other outreach information, we have a database to connect you with safe 2SLGBTQ+ services.

Space to Connect

We create a safe and welcoming space where everyone can connect, express their true authentic selves, and feel a sense of belonging—free from fear or prejudice. We also invite Two-Spirit artists, authors, and public speakers to share their powerful stories of resilience, strength, and triumph over adversity, inspiring and uplifting our community.
